Stokvis Tapes product range for electronics consist of a wide variety of high quality products that can be supplied in die-cut form or slit rolls with very tight tolerances. Many products also have very low outgassing properties.
There are hundreds of different applications in the electronic industry where you can use our tapes to improve your production processes. Examples of applications:
Temporary masking
-For protecting your circuit boards during the plating process. The specially designed adhesive provides maximum adhesion with no leaks and easy tape removable with no residues.
-To protect goldfingers during the wave solder and hot air levelling process. Stokvis Tapes products protect the masked areas, bonds firmly and removes cleanly.
Temporary bonding
-To hold down your panels during the drilling operation. The single or double sided tape can be easily applied and removed cleanly from the surface without leaving residues.
Bonding
-Electronic devices are becoming smaller and lighter therefore the electronics industry is realizing the aesthetic advantages of bonding with adhesive tapes rather than mechanical fasteners. Many tapes meet the challenge of bonding to a wide variety of substrates under extreme heat and through exposure to a wide range of service conditions. Self-adhesive tapes offer the benefits of conformability to curved surfaces, bonding of irregular surfaces and contamination free fastening. Double sided tapes are available in a range of thicknesses colours and adhesive systems. Double sided tapes are also ideal for component attachment on PCB boards.
Gaskets
-Self adhesive foams and tapes die-cut in the shape and form you need to avoid dust or moisture entry into your panel or display.
Vibration damping
-Double sided tapes or foams are used to bond your panels and displays whilst reducing vibration between components.
RMI/RFI shielding
-Stokvis Tapes offers copper and aluminium foil tapes, metallized fabrics, conductive foams and double sided tapes. All these materials can be provided with or without a conductive adhesive. These electro-magnetic and radio frequency interference tapes offer reliable point to point contact, grounding and static charge draining. Stokvis Tapes can fabricate the parts in any shape and form and provide the parts in a manner that will optimise the efficiency in the production process.
