For years, Stokvis Tapes has been producing self-adhesive tapes for making high-quality constructions. You can use our Structural Bonding (SB) and foam tapes for bonding and sealing in various constructions. These somewhat thicker tapes are generally more suitable because:

 

  • The two surfaces sometimes show irregularities.

  • The bond itself must bridge a gap.

  • The bond consists of two different materials and must therefore ‘flex’.

  • The bond must also be a sealant.

STRUCTURAL BONDING TAPEs-

Structural Bonding Tape is perfectly suitable for constructions that involve higher shear stresses, higher temperatures and outdoor applications. You can also use this tape to seal the connection in one application.

If you are making a high-end qualityproduct, whereby one or more of these requirements play a role, then SB tape is the right choice for you.

 

DOUBLE-COATED FOAM TAPE-

Use double-sided foam tapes for lighter constructions, where immediate adhesion, suitability and adhesive strength are particularly important, and where you more or less do not need to deal with shear forces, higher temperatures and outdoor applications.
