Cloth Tapes
Double sided cloth tapes consist of a textile carrier with either acrylic or rubber adhesives on both sides. Because of the textile carrier double side cloth tapes normally have high coat weights (mass) of adhesive and are, therefore, suitable for applications where there may be irregular surfaces. Double sided cloth tapes are strong, have low elongation properties. They can be slit in any width or die-cut in the shape and form you need. Double sided cloth tapes can be used for:
• Fixing carpets
• Core starting
• Mounting of materials with irregular surfaces
• Splicing of materials where a thick, high tack product is needed
• Temporary fixation of materials when you want to remove the tape without leaving residues
Double sided carpet tapes are available in a wide variety:
• In different thicknesses and widths
• With rubber and acrylic adhesive systems
• With clean removable adhesive systems
• With flame retardant adhesive systems
• With different textile carriers
