Application Tips
Surface Preparation: 
To ensure optimum adhesion, the surfaces which must be bonded are to be clean, dry and free from grease. To remove these contaminations a 50/50 IPA/water solution might be used. For some substrates a specific primer might be used to increase the bond strength. Stokvis Tapes can help you to define the appropriate cleaning method.
Application of Adhesive Tapes:
Adhesive tapes are pressure sensitive and need a moderate pressure of minimal 20 N/cm² evenly applied at an ambient temperatures (18°C–25°C). To obtain maximum initial adhesion, equal pressure should be applied. Ways of achieving this are by finger pressure, a small hand roller, a roll laminator or a press. In all cases the pressure must be applied over the entire surface of the tape.
